Nonprofit Arts Organiztion Cashion Cultural Legacy presents On Demand access to Ritos y Costumbres, a new dance concert that was held on December 3 & 4, 2022 at the Plaza Theater in San José. In this concert the audience experienced stories that told of an oath to repay a miracle, a traditional wedding, the worldwide famous Day of the Dead, and more.
Ritos y Costumbres features dances from Veracruz (three debut suites set by Resident Artist Angel Ciro Silvestre García), Sinaloa (debut suite set by guest maestro Yahir Padilla), Nuevo León (two suites set by guest artist maestro Jaime Guerrero Hernández), and Michoacán (debut suite set by Resident Artist José Felipe Martínez Baez). Los Lupeños is joined by Los Lupeños Juvenil.
Cashion Cultural Legacy extends its appreciation to SVCreates, the City of San José Office of Cultural Affairs, the Hewlett Foundation, and the School of Arts and Culture.
